About The Event

Shalom Everyone, Hard to believe but Rosh Hashana is almost here!! We hear the shofar blast at each minyan service!! After very serious consideration over the summer, SOZ will continue services via Zoom and you will receive information in the Newsletter and in the days leading up to Rosh Hashana. We are distributing Machzorim (the siddur read during the High Holidays) for loan on the following days. As an added incentive, we will include a piece of the lukchen kugel (noodle pudding) served at Break-the Fast with each Machzor. Please freeze your piece(s) when you get home and enjoy at your Break-the Fast!! S'lichot is the official beginning of the High Holidays. Our S'lichot Service is Saturday, September 12,  2020, at 8:00pm. There is a special book for this short and inspiring service. If you expect to attend S'lichot, be sure to pick up the book with your Machzor. Tallit and kippot will also be available for you to borrow.
